Two Missouri State trend packages to relocate to Glass Corridor from downtown constructing

Missouri State needs to relocate two design packages from its Park Central Workplace Constructing to Glass Corridor, on the primary campus.

To perform that, renovations are wanted.

Glass Hall on the Missouri State University campus. There was a ribbon-cutting in October 2017 for the Robert Gourley Student Success Center and the renovated academic building.

The manager committee of the MSU Board of Governors is predicted to vote Wednesday on a proposed $855,000 challenge to finish that work and award the $523,000 bid to MSI Constructors.

If authorised, Room 229 in Glass Corridor, the house of MSU’s Faculty of Enterprise, can be renovated to create area for the inside design program and the merchandising and trend design division.

The scope of the work consists of three laptop labs — one every for inside design, merchandising and trend design, plus for accounting — in addition to a pattern library, cupboard space and a show window for the style packages.

The development is predicted to be accomplished in the course of the summer season.

Funding for the challenge will come from enterprise course charges, the Middle of Enterprise Excellence and personal donations.
